Highlights on Twitter this week:
We continued our #BCG100Facts infographics which included fascinating information about TB in the Stone age, ancient Babylon, ancient Greece, and the bible. We also promoted our BCG100 for Schools event. Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases has partnered with the Global Youth Storytelling Festival and the Stop TB Partnership celebrated the role played by TB healthcare workers in responding to COVID-19. The UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Vaccinations for All wrote to the government there to express their dismay at the proposed cuts to the global vaccine Initiatives. The British Society for Immunology tweeted an infographic explaining herd immunity and shared the video of a webinar where Dr Alison Whitelegg discussed her journey from academia into clinical science. Alfredo D Torres celebrated editing another VALIDATE Publication.
