Watch Now - VALIDATE Workshop: Writing Research Grant Proposals: Last Wednesday, Prof Rajko Reljic provided attendees with a perspective on how to identify the most appropriate funding opportunities and shared some advice on how to write successful proposals to support their research. 42 VALIDATE members attended from 33 institutions, in 24 countries!

VALIDATE Seminar - A Vaccine for Leishmaniasis? - 6 April 2022
This seminar will be the first in our "A Vaccine for" seminar series, in which leading experts will provide an overview of the state of vaccine research for VAIDATE’s focus pathogens. This seminar will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers to learn about an area of vaccine science outside of their usual focus, in this case, leishmaniasis.
- Surveillance and diagnostics for antimicrobial resistance - This scheme provides funding for mid-career researchers from any discipline who have the potential to be international research leaders - deadline 14 June 2022
- NRF DAAD Scholarship and Fellowships - The National Research Foundation (NRF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) award MA and PhD scholarships to South African citizens and permanent South African residents for postgraduate studies at public South African universities - deadline different for each institution
- COST Open Call, 2022 - Participants are invited to submit COST Action proposals contributing to the scientific, technological, economic, cultural or societal knowledge advancement and development of Europe. Multi- and interdisciplinary proposals are encouraged - open till 20 October 2022
