VALIDATE has an incredibly busy 2023 ahead, not least because of our first face-to-face Annual Meeting since 2019. VALIDATE is here to support its members so get in touch if there is anything we can help with. Here is a quick reminder of some of the support we offer:

Nature reported that the US FDA is looking at alternatives to animal testing in its research, Devex and the Stop TB Coalition have begun their #TalkingTB series, and IVVN wished followers a happy new year. TB News Daily reported that in 1923 scientists predicted the elimination of TB by 2023, ATUM discussed the limitations of BCG, and Nature reported on their survey of Science Graduate’s career choices. Brazil ended 2022 with alarming childhood vaccination coverage, Nature Careers reported on a tumultuous 2022 for science researchers, and the CDC in the US is looking for collaborators for the TB work.
