Welcome to the VALIDATE Weekly Round-up Number 131! This week we have launched our latest round of training grants and, as usual, we're updating you on jobs opportunities, upcoming events and recent publications.
Training Grant Round 10 is now open!
VALIDATE Associates can apply for grants of up to £3000 to help you take advantage of training opportunities that will contribute to your professional development in our research field. We are particularly keen to receive applications from researchers based in low and middle-income countries (LMICs), so please do share details of our grants with colleagues in these countries. You can apply via the Training Grants Page. The deadline is 13 October 2020!
- Hic-Vac Public Engagement Awards - funding innovative and creative projects that improve the public’s awareness and understanding of controlled human infection studies, build trust in them, and probe risk perceptions – deadline 21 August 2020
- AMS Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers - This scheme is targeted at those who are in the earlier years of their Clinical Lecturer appointment - deadline 8 September 2020
- MRC Career Development Award - Supporting talented post-doctoral researchers and provides funding for challenging research programmes – deadline 16 September 2020
