Dates: 24 August 2020
Location: Online
Due to social distancing, shielding and travel restrictions, lab time and bench space will be limited for many final year biomolecular science undergraduates in the 2020/2021 academic year. To meet the aims and learning objectives of final year honours research projects under these conditions, projects will require adaptation. In this two-part webinar series, researchers who have successfully delivered – and students who have undertaken – biomolecular science undergraduate projects under restricted lab time conditions will share their experiences. Contributors will discuss their projects, the tools and data needed, the skills acquired by the students, and lessons learned by the supervisor. The series aims to enable attendees to consider the experiences presented and explore possible adaptations of their own research projects.
