Weekly round-up #60

It's been a week of change here at VALIDATE as sadly this was Ellie Mottram, our VALIDATE Network Assistant's, last week working with us; she has been headhunted by Pembroke College for their development team and we wish her all the best for her new role. We are, of course, on the hunt to find a fantastic replacement to pick up where Ellie left off, so if you know anyone who would be interested in this exciting role spanning project management, events organising and communications, do forward them our job advert! We will endeavour to continue to keep VALIDATE running smoothly in the interim, although Sam may take a little longer to respond to queries, for which we apologise!

With the flurry of snow here in the UK, it's the time of year (here at least; lots of envious looks directed at our Southern hemisphere members enjoying summer) to curl up somewhere warm with a nice cup of tea or coffee and read - so why not take a look at our new Resources section here on the VALIDATE website where we have listed information you might find useful - from career advice to tools to help with your research to other Networks and groups you might find interesting, as well as ideas for our non-native English-speakering members to improve their language skills. If you think we've missed anything just drop us an email!

Last November we held our 1st Early Career Researchers Workshop and 2nd VALIDATE Annual Meeting, and you can find the report, photos and videos here.
