VALIDATE Network Opens Training Grants Round 16

training grants call

The VALIDATE Network is inviting applications for its 16th round of Early Career Researcher training grants, designed to propel vaccine research and development for intracellular pathogens impacting low and middle-income countries. With a focus on Mycobacteria, Leishmania spp, and Burkholderia pseudomallei, these grants, totaling up to £3500, aim to foster Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and career advancement among researchers.

The grants support a range of opportunities, including attending courses, workshops, laboratory exchanges, and international conferences for LMIC members. The network encourages collaboration during laboratory exchanges, emphasizing the importance of maximizing the visit's impact by expanding networks and discussing potential future collaborations. To be eligible, applicants must be VALIDATE Associate members actively working on the network's priority pathogens. The application deadline and detailed guidelines can be found on the VALIDATE website, reflecting the network's commitment to nurturing the next generation of researchers dedicated to accelerating vaccine development for infectious diseases in LMICs.
