VALIDATE will be hosting an Immunometabolism Workshop in Oxford from 22-24 April 2020, which we hope will interest many of our members.
The workshop is aimed at all researchers who would like to know more about immunometabolism and the techniques used to address the interplay between metabolism and cell function, particularly with regards to intracellular pathogens and vaccine development. We want to encourage people to attend who already have specific plans to study immunometabolism in their upcoming research projects.
The workshop will consist of practical training sessions and a series of talks. Participants will be introduced to live cell extracellular flux analysis using the Agilent Seahorse instruments as well as the integration of transcriptomics and metabolomics data. Agilent are kindly co-sponsoring the workshop.
No prior knowledge of metabolism research is required to participate. The workshop is particularly aimed at early-career researchers, whose research and/or professional development will benefit from attending.
