Early Career Researcher (ECR) Open Forum
This half hour session between VALIDATE Management and VALIDATE ECRs will be an open discussion around what training, career support and topics you would like VALIDATE to run in the future. All Associate and Affiliate members are welcome (indeed encouraged!) to join, as we'd really value your input to make VALIDATE as useful as possible for you all. We will be running one of these sessions at each Annual Meeting day to enable ECRs in all timezones to input into VALIDATE's future.

Highlights on Twitter this week:
The Microbiology Society ran a member’s chat series, Nature Careers discussed how social media has helped black researchers, and abstract submissions are open for the Global Forum on TB. IVI promoted their 20th International Vaccinology Course, the BSI opened applications for their immunology teaching awards, and we reminded followers about our BCG Adventures computer games. Nature Careers spoke to experts about their grant writing process and highlighted useful tips for drafting publication submission cover letters, and the UK Department of Social Care ran a campaign asking medical experts about the importance of childhood vaccines.
