Our final newsletter of 2018 has now been released - it has information about everything that we have been doing here at VALIDATE over the past three months, our open calls, new developments, publications by our members and more, so do take a look!

Funding: 

  • VALIDATE Pump-priming grants - up to £50,000 for up to 12 months for projects leading to relevant and useful data for the field, or pilot data that will lead to larger grant applications. Cross-pathogen research, cross-discipline research, projects promoting the One Health agenda, in vivo research, translational research, collaborative projects led by and/or involving LMIC researchers, new collaborations between VALIDATE members, projects led by and/or including Early Career Researchers,and projects with industry involvement are particularly encouraged - deadline 12 Feb 2019
  • VALIDATE Training grants - up to £3,000 for Associate members to take advantage of training opportunities that will contribute to their professional development - deadline 12 Feb 2019
  • MRC UKRI Physics of Life call for proposals - interdisciplinary work that brings together physics and the life sciences - deadline 15 Jan 2019, full proposals submitted by 12 Feb 2019
