VALIDATE ECR Workshop Series 2021: Collaboration-Builder

Building new collaborations is an essential part of each ECR’s journey towards independence as well as producing valuable additional grants and publications. In this workshop, we gave our ECRs the opportunity to showcase their research to fellow ECRs in the VALIDATE Network and to build future collaborations.

During the workshop, members were divided into groups of four people. Each group member had 10 minutes to present their research, future research interests, research skills, samples & datasets to their group, after which the four group members will have 30mins to brainstorm and discuss potential future collaborations (e.g. projects, grants, data comparison papers) they could work together on given their interests and research expertise.
