On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to welcome you to Caparica (Lisbon, Portugal), for the 2nd International Caparica Congress on Leishmaniasis 2020 (LEISHMANIASIS2020).
This conference intends to gather researchers working in areas related to Leishmaniasis, from treatment to prevention. In fact, as leishmaniasis is slowly but constantly, increasing worldwide, this conference is addressed to show the latest research trends in this area. The idea is to push forward the battle against this persistent disease.
The conference will promote networking sessions to link the different skills of participants so international teams will be created to apply to funding at international level.
We are confident that you will appreciate the breadth and quality of the scientific program and the city of Caparica.
Conference starts with a welcome dinner at 7:30 PM on Sunday.
Official Opening Ceremony: Monday, 8:30 AM.
Official Closing Ceremony: Thursday, 1 PM.
- Plenary talks (40 min, 30 min plus 10 min questions)
- Keynotes: (20min, 17 min plus 3 min questions)
- 15 min oral presentations for researchers (12 min talk plus 3 min questions).
- Shot-gun presentation for young scientists: 5 min oral presentations (no questions).
- Poster: regular Posters (A0) must fit onto a 841 mm (wide) by 1189 mm (long) space.
