The Africa-India Mobility Fund is accepting applications for travel grants from researchers from Africa and India. The programme, which is a partnership of African Academy of Sciences, the Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance and Wellcome, will fund short-term visits of up to three months for researchers to travel in either direction. Funding will be given to nationals of India and African countries to support collaboration in research in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, dengue, malaria, vector-borne diseases, parasitic infections, emerging infections, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, health systems research, antimicrobial resistance, microbiome, drug development and general biomedical sciences. This call is also open to non-African investigators resident on the continent or overseas citizen of India.
The applications for AIMF will be on a rolling basis with feedback on the outcome given within two months until further notice.
