We are excited to announce that the application process for our final round of Gnatwork funding is now open. Gnatwork members have voted on the project areas they wanted to receive funding. The results were very close however the three areas that received the most votes are:
- Detecting pathogens in vector species
- Test a novel trap design against standard surveillance techniques
- Test a trap design against explicit estimates of biting rate
You can now apply to carry out these projects.
To apply for the Gnatwork Community Call projects, read the project descriptions, select the project(s) you wish to apply for and complete the relevant application form.
Details on how to fill in each section are provided within the application forms, however further information on applicant eligibility, the Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) compliance statement and requested resources are provided in our application guidelines. The Gnatwork Management Team have provided the scientific bases of the projects, you need to complete the sections highlighted in yellow.
The closing date for applications is 13 September 2019, completed applications should be emailed as a PDF to enquiries@gnatwork.ac.uk. Please ensure that you read the application guidelines to ensure that your project meets the required criteria.
