Scope
The funders wish to encourage high quality, innovative research conducted by transdisciplinary teams of researchers on the ecological, evolutionary, and social drivers that influence the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases of animals, humans and plants.
The Collaborative proposals must include researchers from the UK and US and can include researchers from Israel and China. Applications for both research projects and Research Coordination Networks that involve researchers from the UK and US, China and/or Israel will be considered.

UK component
The duration of the UK component of the project will be 3-years only and this component in itself should be interdisciplinary. It is strongly encouraged that there is a good integration of mathematical, computational and a spectrum of social scientists with life scientists interested in infectious diseases of humans, animal and plants. e.g. including biologists, ecologists, natural scientists, plant scientists, clinicians and veterinarians etc.
