Scotland’s research institutions have a proud history of developing new tools in the fight against the global tuberculosis epidemic, a track record which includes the pioneering work of Sir John Crofton. Today, tuberculosis remains the world’s deadliest infectious disease. Researchers and professionals across Scotland continue to be at the forefront of tuberculosis control. This collaborative event from the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Global Tuberculosis and a series of Scottish universities and professional organisations will be an opportunity for engagement between parliamentarians, academics, other professionals and students, as we discuss how joint approaches can best tackle tuberculosis in the years ahead.
