University of Edinburgh - Lectureship or Senior Lectureship in Microbiology
We seek an excellent scientist to join the academic staff of the University of Edinburgh and help shape tomorrow’s world. We want to appoint someone with a flair for teaching, a growing international research reputation, and a commitment to engagement with research users and the public. We welcome applicants from any field of microbiology and we are especially interested in recruiting an individual with expertise in one or more of: microbial biotechnology, bacterial genomics, antimicrobial resistance or microbiota-host interactions. The appointment will be at Lecturer (grade UE08) or Senior Lecturer (grade UE09) level depending on skills and experience.
The salary will be UE08 £40,792 to £48,677 for a Lecturer, or UE09 £51,630 to £58,089 for a Senior Lecturer.
