VALIDATE Research Data Analyst

VALIDATE is looking for a Research Data Analyst, an exciting new job opportunity within the Network. The Research Data Analyst will maximise the outputs and lessons learned from our international Network’s immunology and vaccine-related data by examining cross-pathogen, cross-species, and cross-country immunological data to find synergies and differences, generating new findings and peer-reviewed journal publications, and building models to predict vaccine efficacy. They will be a post-doc, and be proactive and a great communicator.
VALIDATE (“VAccine deveLopment for complex Intracellular neglecteD pAThogEns”) aims to bring together human and veterinary academics, industry partners, and governmental and non-governmental agencies worldwide to accelerate progress towards developing vaccines. Our initial focus is on four pathogens: Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which causes TB, Mycobacterium leprae (leprosy), Leishmania spp (leishmaniasis), and Burkholderia pseudomallei (melioidosis). These diseases have enormous impact on low and middle income countries, and development of efficacious vaccines is the most cost-effective way to control these diseases. VALIDATE provides funding and CPD opportunities for our members. We are an open Network and welcome new members: to date VALIDATE has 55 partners at 27 institutes across 11 countries, and this will increase. The VALIDATE Research Data Analyst will be a crucial part of VALIDATE’s success.
