Biography: My research focuses on the identification and characterization of potential vaccine candidates from Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (Mtb). The development of new or improved vaccines against Mtb is needed and for that we must better understand the host-pathogen interaction. I am working on a very relevant family of proteins from Mtb and their characterization by studying their interaction with innate immune cells.
