Biography: I am an early-career researcher in neglected tropical diseases of the skin and child health. I graduated with a MSc degree in Paediatric Nursing from the University of Gondar in 2018. Since then, I have been teaching child health nursing at Debre Tabor University. I published more than 20 research articles focusing on child health, healthcare-associated infections, and skin NTDs. Currently, I am a PhD research fellow at the University of Gnodar and the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI). In addition, I am working with the Skin Health Africa Research Programme (SHARP), a UK based government sponsored project working on skin NTDs in Ethiopia and Ghana.
