Biography:

Mr Ashish Shukla is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, located in Varanasi, India. His primary focus lies in comprehending the transmission dynamics of leishmaniasis, as well as elucidating the many mechanisms contributing to sandfly resistance against different insecticides. Mr Shukla possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of microbiology and parasitology pertaining to infectious diseases, together with substantial practical experience in fieldwork and entomology.
