Biography:
I completed my Ph.D. at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Upon completing my Ph.D., I joined the faculty of medical sciences of Stellenbosch University, where I started a post-doctoral fellowship under the supervision of Professor Samantha Sampson. Using in vitro co-culture systems, Image flow cytometry, GC-MS, and NGS, my research aims to (i) investigate the correlation between PPE genes and Multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) and (ii) decipher the potential interactions between M. tuberculosis and other bacterial and fungal pathogens.
