Biography

I joined Khader lab in 2021 as Postdoc Research Associate. My PhD (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany/ MRC Unit The Gambia at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) aimed at investigating the contribution of neutrophil phenotypes and function on the severity of chronic TB-induced lung impairment and recovery post-treatment in humans. I previously obtained an MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon and an MSc by Research in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Edinburgh, UK. At the Khader lab, I focus on the impact of TB-induced innate immune responses on Mtb control, TB severity and lung pathology.
