Biography:
Chikondi is PhD student passionate about Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs) research. She is currently working on developing tailored interventions to address vaccine uptake. Her work will improve vaccine delivery strategies in the face of pandemics and life course immunization and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Her goal is to become an independent investigator and conduct evidence-based policy-changing vaccine implementation research that will improve health systems policies around vaccine delivery, increase vaccine science communication to the lay person and improve vaccine confidence among individuals. She also has interests in using vaccines to overcome AMR.
