Deepa Paliwal

My current work focuses on reverse vaccinology approach to a bovine TB vaccine. I am involved with in-silico identification of potential repertoire of novel immunogenic antigens encoded by the bTB genome (target ORFs) and generate immune responses to them. Finally, prepare and make available the best candidates as potential vaccines for evaluation in bTB challenge studies. I am also interested in ‘’Omics’’ (transcriptomic and proteomic) approaches to identify genes and proteins involved in pathogen-host-vector interactions. In addition to the above interests, I also have special interest to design beneficial products using fundamental biotechnology approaches. My future work will continue along the lines of molecular biology and biotechnology.
