Biography:
Dr Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury is an Associate Professor in Internal Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and graduated from Khulna Medical College in 2005. He later obtained his Masters in infectious disease from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, FCPS in Internal Medicine and a PhD from the University of Oxford. He received multiple awards during his scientific and academic career, such as the ISC Young investigator award, Young Physician Leader Award, BSMMU Best Researcher award and others. He was also awarded as best PhD student from Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford, in 2018 for his thesis on Melioidosis and sepsis. His area of research interest is Gram-negative bacteria and sepsis, Leishmaniasis, AMR, acute poisoning & envenomation and Arboviral infections. Dr Rabbi published more than 90 research articles in peer reviewed national and international journals and contributed chapters in four books. He has more than 9000 citations in his account with an h index 23
