Godwin Attah Obande is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Federal University of Lafia. His research interests cover medical bacteriology, antimicrobial resistance, the development of diagnostics for infectious diseases of microbial origin, and public health. His current research is focused on the development of isothermal amplification assays for clinical Acinetobacter species as part of his PhD at the Health Campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has received some academic awards, and is a member of some scientific bodies, including the Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NSM), the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) and the British Society for Parasitology (BSP) among others. He is open to meaningful collaborations.
