Biography:
Fundamentally my research focus is on tropical diseases and global health. I am interested in application of molecular biology tools and immunological techniques in the development of drugs and/or vaccine for the elimination of tropical infections ranging from tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). With skills in bioinformatics, I am also involved in reverse vaccinology approaches for development of recombinant/chimeric vaccine candidates. Also, my interest is defined to addressing the epidemiology of tropical pathogens towards implementation of effective public health programmes.
