Leo Martinez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Boston University. Dr Martinez’s interests include the understanding of early-life factors predisposing young children to tuberculosis, tuberculosis transmission dynamics in high-risk settings (e.g., prisons), and furthering our understanding of the spectrum of tuberculosis. He works with groups in South Africa, Brazil, Uganda, and China involved in several large observational studies.
