Biography:

Dr. A.K.M. Mostafa Anower is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Public Health, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh where he has been a faculty member since 2006. He holds the Chairmanship of the Department of Microbiology and Public Health.  

He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Ajou University School of Medicine, South Korea in 2013 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and MS in Veterinary Public Health and Food Hygiene from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 1998 and 2000 respectively.  

Since 2001, Dr. Anower has held research and teaching positions at Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI), Livestock Research Institute (LRI), Barisal Government Veterinary College, Barisal and Patuakhali Science and Technology University.  

Dr. Anower is also a Consultant of the FAO of the UN in Bangladesh since 2018 and working with the DLS to formulate livestock policies and strategies to control diseases.
