Biography: As a recent graduate with an MSC in Biotechnology, I am passionate about vaccine development against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). I believe that the development of an effective vaccine could play a critical role in reducing the global burden of tuberculosis (TB) and improving global health outcomes. My academic training has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to this effort, and I have been actively involved in researching and learning more about the latest developments in MTB vaccine research. I am particularly interested in the challenges involved in developing a vaccine for TB, such as the need for effective immune responses against both latent and active forms of the disease. I am excited to collaborate with other researchers and organizations involved in the Validate Network to accelerate progress towards a successful MTB vaccine.
