Biography:

Mr. Shamsuddeen Yusuf Ma’aruf holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Shamsuddeen recently completed an MSc in Molecular Biology at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He is currently a PhD Candidate with the University of Saskatchewan. Mr. Shamsuddeen is the co-founder of D’ Health Rides Synergy Nigeria Ltd, a start-up with the mission of maximizing medical laboratory services in Nigeria. Mr. Shamsuddeen is a strong advocate of universal health coverage and quality education. He currently works on the potential of immune modulatory functionalized lipid polymeric nanoparticles to tackle tuberculosis (TB) as a contribution to addressing AMR related to TB.
