Biography

With over two decades of experience in Bioinformatics research, I haveled impactful projects spanning diverse domains such as drug target mining, peptide therapeutics, and microbial genome analysis. My contributions include pioneering automated codon usage pipelines, designing peptide inhibitors for ocular diseases, and deciphering mechanisms of drug resistance in pathogens like Mycobacterium tuberculosis. I take pride in my role as a mentor and organizer of national- level conferences, fostering knowledge dissemination and capacity building within the scientific community. Recognized for my open-source contributions and editorial roles, I am committed to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering collaborations within the VALIDATE network.

I bring a wealth of expertise in functional genomics and bioinformatics, with a focus on drug design and vaccine development initiatives. My research endeavors, supported by esteemed institutions like DBT and SERB, have yielded impactful insights into disease mechanisms and therapeutic interventions. I am dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in the field. Through participation in the VALIDATE network, I am eager to collaborate with fellow membersand facilitate meaningful partnerships aimed at advancing bioinformatics and vaccine development on a global scale.
