Weekly round-up #141

Weekly Round-up #141
VALIDATE for Schools
In December, we will be holding an online event for young people in what we hope will be the first of many VALIDATE for Schools events. This is an exciting opportunity for students to engage with VALIDATE's world-class scientists and discuss fascinating aspects of vaccine research and what it's like pursuing a career in science.
The first event will take place at 10am GMT, 9 December 2020 and will feature Prof Helen McShane and Dr Rachel Tanner and you can find out more about the event and our speakers on the VALIDATE for Schools page. The first event will be UK-based but we welcome attendees from around the world.
You can also help us in two ways:
- Spread the word: If you know any science teachers or careers advisors please encourage them to register their interest in the event for their students.
- Do your own talk: If you would like to do a similar event, VALIDATE can help organise and promote it. Get in touch - validate@ndm.ox.ac.uk.
