Highlights on Twitter this week:

We had a very busy World Leprosy and World NTD on Sunday 30 January. We tweeted a series of infographics about Leprosy using the #LeprosyFacts hashtag, reshared our video “A Vaccine for Leprosy?”, and shared our “A few things you might not know about leishmaniasis”. EVI took the opportunity of World NTD to share their work in support of a vaccine for leishmaniasis. Wellcome’s Director of Research Programmes Cheryl Moore talked about their £16 billion investment in research, STEM Village were seeking speakers for their LGBTQ+ seminar series, and we shared an educational video on leishmaniasis from Let’s Learn About Bugs. Hugh Kearns shared some useful planning guide resources. Write that PhD has some excellent advice for writing abstracts, research protocol, qualitative research, and structuring your thesis. Nature Careers had articles on industry and academia collaborations, the impact of the world’s deadliest diseases and the funding allocated to them, and advice for applying for grants.
