The WHO launched a TB research tracker online platform, AcademicChatter flagged a list of useful websites to access publications that are behind paywalls, while The Global Health Network announced their 1,000 Challenge, to enable nurses, midwives and community health workers in low-resource settings to lead research studies. Nature discussed how to achieve gender equality in science, BSI called for focus group members for public engagement, and AcademicChatter gave 10 tips on asking for help in academia and talked about how to handle negative feedback. The 2nd global survey of postdoc researchers is underway, so do share your experiences with Nature, and Madhu Pai publicized his list of 300 excellent global health books for us all to get stuck into reading!
