Storytelling for Scientists

VALIDATE Workshop - Storytelling for Scientists

One of VALIDATE’s key aims is to 'help interested people in the general public find out more about our research and the diseases we’re tackling in an accessible format'. With this in mind, we have asked First Create The Media to provide our members with training on how to best communicate their scientific research to the general public.

In Storytelling for Scientists, 30 VALIDATE members joined Dr Kat Arney as she discussed the techniques of narrative structure and storytelling to to help researchers communicate research in a clear, compelling way.

Future Workshops

So far in 2022 VALIDATE has provided training on Flow Cytometry, Writing Research Grant Proposals and Science communications. We are always keen to hear about what training we can provide our members, so let us know what skills we can help you develop – validate@ndm.ox.ac.uk
