Highlights on Twitter this week:
The Cambridge Network reported that Actiphage developed a test for tuberculosis that has won the BVA Innovation Award 2021, we joined the Coolest Hotspot in celebrating Prof Charles Gauthier joining VALIDATE, and the European Research Council shared details of the €1.9 billion in Horizon EU they are making available. The IMPALA Network will be tweeting pictures of their women scientists across Africa between Women and Girls in Science Day and International Women’s Day. The BBC produced a video with the Royal Society imagining what the world would be like without vaccines, Eureka Alert published an article shedding light on a study that could explain “the tuberculosis bacteria paradox”, and Global Humanitarian Engagement published an article about the depleted stocks of TB medication and BCG in North Korea.
