Funding

Funding still seems to be negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic but we are expecting more opportunities as the lock-down is lifted and we will keep you up-to-date on our funding page.

  • Newton International Fellowships - This scheme provides early-career international researchers with an opportunity to build links and undertake a research project - deadline 3 September 2020

    Highlights on Twitter this week

    This week we shared Nature Career' guide on How to play at being a scientist before you get back into the lab, shared Prof Peter Hotez's comparison of COVID-19 Deaths with HIV and TB, and helped UKRI promote an event on using digital technologies in healthcare. Validate member Alfredo G Torres shared his interview on the Meet the Microbiologist podcast, IVVN Celebrated World Zoonoses Day, EDCTP reminded us of an upcoming deadline for their Career Development Fellowships and the MicroBio Society held a Coffee and Chat via Zoom. We helped the BSI promote their Diversity and Inclusion in Stem seminar and GHCT reminded us that TB is the biggest killer of people living with HIV. Follow us on Twitter @NetworkValidate.
