Highlights on Twitter this week:

The Centre for Health Protection in Hong Kong called for heightened vigilance against Melioidosis, Medical Dialogues reported that BCG can show to provide lifelong protection against eczema, and Nature Careers spoke to Julia Gould about how saying yes can lead to burnout. The Stop TB Coalition discussed the importance of thinking before you speak and we congratulated our Director Prof Helen McShane who was part of a team awarded £122 million to improve diagnosis, treatment and care for NHS patients. The Working Group on TB launched an interactive pipeline for TB vaccines, Healio report on calls for HIV patients to take part in TB vaccine trials. Nature researchers working at research hospitals about their experiences, the Nature Podcast talked about the dangers of burnout, and Newswire reported on the Texas Biomedical Research Institute’s plans for diversifying the next generation of TB vaccines.
